My 2 Year old Tinker Tot...

Funny how time is...
thinking back it seems
like yesterday I was shocked
by your beauty for the first time...

and yet I can hardly remember
back far enough to my days without you.

There are some days being your Mommy
feels like the greatest job on earth, and
there are also moments I pray nap time
to come a little quicker.

You wake up every morning humming
a sweet tune...
with your big pink binky in your mouth,
(cause pink is your favorite color!)

The reason I know your favorite color
already is because you make it very clear
when we (you) pick out your clothes every
morning.

You often request licorice (ricorice) for
breakfast... and on the mornings when
I'm not up for the "what's good for you chat"
I give in...

You love to dance with your "sissy" and
chase your "brodder" around the house...
but you never hesitate to put them in their
place. "pop (stop) brodder, go way"

Being the youngest of 3 in my family,
I know we share the same determination.
I see it in the sassy way you walk when
you don't get something your way.

I know you are only 2 but somedays I swear
there's a 16 year old in that little body of yours...

I'm certain you will grow up too fast...
Just promise me you will keep giving me
those hugs that make me feel like the
best Mommy in the world...

because I LIVE for them!

You are constantly finding ways to make Carter and Addison smile. :)

In fact you like to make us all smile. You're kinda a little prankster...The morning of your birthday I made it a point to get up early so I could have some extra time with you before you went to school. As I was standing in my closet trying to decide what to wear a hand came out from under my clothes and grabbed my ankle. I HATE being surprised so out of fear for my life I started stomping on the hand before I realized it belonged to my little birthday lady.

You were laughing so hard I couldn't help but bust up myself.

Fairy Tea

In March Kennedy and I joined my 3 AMAZING

sisters and their little ladies in Provo for the annual

FAIRY TEA...

(Thanks Diana for waiting in line for tickets!)

They hold it at the Provo library in the Grand Ballroom.

It was so much fun !

I was so impressed with the very creative program and

the FAIRY KING.

They all did such a great job making it fun

for the girls.

Next year Addison will be old enough to join us!
Such a great way to keep their imaginations engaged...

PrETTy BoY! Shhh...

This post has to be kept a little secret from my husband.

SHHH...

He doesn't want everyone to know he's a bit of a "pretty boy!" Once the kids caught on to how touchy he is about his hair it was all over.

I laughed so hard I'm lucky I didn't pee my pants.

22 Months

I've only got a couple more months before my

baby is two!

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to slow

time down a bit???

I spend a lot of time everyday kissing these

cheeks...

so irresistible!

I know she won't be small for long so I
