Our First Spring Birthday!

Kennedy was the first person in my life to teach

me true unselfish love.

Can it really be that she's 8 already?!

Where has the time gone?

I truly love everything about this little lady.

She is amazing...

Kennedy and her cousin Jett have
been best friends since birth.
Literally he was in the room when she was born,
along with about 8 other people.
I guess I was too excited or too tired to care.

I sewed these dresses for the girls on their
first birthday.
I can't even imagine having the
time to do something like that these days.

Madi we are so glad we had you for birthday
celebrations this year.

We couldn't resist getting the kids out and

enjoying some spring weather tonight.

Addison found her shadow!

Not only did she move her arms and dance with it,

but she also talked to it like it was her friend.

"HI" she said as she waved her hand.

Oh did I mention she started walking a couple of weeks ago?

The Independence is fabulous!

Daddy enjoyed playing with her shadow too.

I had to throw these pictures in of my Mom.
There isn't anything she won't do for her grand kids
and I just happened to capture a couple of moments tonight.
She is their personal jungle gym, especially Kennedy.
She is constantly trying some new trick with her Nana.
Even little Miss Addison has figured out who
will give her whatever she wants.

We've been so busy lately I need to backtrack and

catch up a bit. My niece JaCoy went to her first

prom last weekend. We were like paparazzi all

trying to catch the perfect picture.

Truly I was hiding my tears behind my camera,

I am such a sentimental schmuck!

Nicole, JaCoy and Michael... her boyfriend?

They looked so stinkin' cute together.

I wanted to dress up so I could go spy

on them at the dance.

Michael has been so sweet with Addy since
she was born, plus he's passed all my

interrogation questioning.

He's a Keeper!

I can hardly stand that it's April and this is what my front yard looks like...

but seeing this little lady sleeping as a baby

snow bear one last time,

kinda makes it all worth it.

So this is going to be a bit of a different post. I'm having one of those

"worthless Mommy days."

My life isn't all rainbows and happy moments...

Sometimes I think my husband is a total fart! and...

Sometimes I bite the hairspray lid while doing my kids hair so I don't bop one of them on the head with the brush. and...

Sometimes I ponder hiding somewhere in my house to see how much time I could get all to myself.

Seriously I'm getting a good laugh at myself...

This afternoon while getting Carter ready for school I let my baby get out all the Q-tips, and stick them all in her mouth. And I loved every moment of it, cause she wasn't screaming at my feet. I can't wait to see what Dan has to say next time he cleans his ear with a soggy Q-tip! I think I'll tell him a bunch of them fell in the toilet and I fished them out and put them back in the box. LOL!!
