I'd like to say that as a Mom I can pretty much handle anything, however one thing that sends me into irrational mommy land is when something happens to Carter's head. I'm convinced God is testing me because it has happened a lot lately. Just over a month ago he was pushed down some stairs by a little handicapped boy at school and just today I came home from grocery shopping and Dan met me outside before I could come in. "Autumn, every things okay, Carter fell down outside and hit his head on the cement, but he's okay." He tries to break it to me gently, but instantly I feel like I'm going to throw up. I'm telling you this little guy is going to teach me some serious faith whether I like it or not.

These next two pictures are from today. When I came in the house
Carter calmly said "Mommy, I'm okay, just don't cry okay Mom"
This is the beginning of Carter's head trauma at 7 1/2 months old.
I truly believe that God knew he would need a stronger head for his life ahead.
Maybe someday He'll bless me to be a little stronger to handle it all.

Happy Halloween

Kennedy, Carter and Addison all wore the lion costume on their first Halloween. I love getting out the old photos and comparing their baby pictures. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by!

THRILLER!

Here's some pictures from our annual trip to see Thriller. As you can tell in this picture to the right, I'm not fond of creepy looking dead people. I was thinking "Please hurry and take the picture Hillary, before this scary lady touches me, cause I might pee my pants!" Last year I walked upon one and wasn't expecting her and I almost fell down the stairs. I know I'm a total chicken. But it's worth it to spend time with the girls. Fun over rides fear in my book!

We just returned from our family vacation to Mexico. It seems simple to say that we all had a Fabulous time. There were several families from Cedar, so we were all constantly entertained. Here are just a few pictures of the trip, if I get some extra time I'll post some more later. We are already counting down the days until we get to go again next year.

It started out a sand castle, but ended up a sand monster.
Such creative boys!
This was our setup on the beach.
Pure RELAXATION!
This is the view of the pools from our room.
If you don't like the temperature of one pool,
just walk a few feet and get in another one.

I could have edited Dan's foot out of this picture,
but I love his photographer skills!

Never a dull moment, always someone to play with.
I could have stayed in this hammock all day!

My Idea of a Pet!

For several months we have had mysterious droppings in one spot by our back door. We were certain it was a mouse that was leaving us it's nice goodies, so we set out mouse traps, and never caught a thing. Well the other morning I was taking Kennedy to school and I spotted this cute creature. I feel much better knowing we have a chipmunk rather than a mouse. This is my idea of a great pet! We don't have to feed it, clean it or worry who will take care of it while we are away! Carter named him "Little Chief" It's killing Dan that he hasn't caught a glimpse of him yet.
