I've come to learn that anytime my phone rings before 7:30 am that I should be prepared to handle bad news from the other end and this morning was no exception. As soon as I heard Pops voice I knew it was about Grandma.

We will all miss Grandma Weaver! She is one of the most amazing women I have ever met. Before Dan and I were ever married she began treating me as her own and filled a spot in my life that had been missing. For selfish reasons I would have kept her here longer, but I know that she has so much to look forward to on the other side. Carter said it best this morning when I told him "Mom, I bet Heavenly Father is so happy" I am certain of that!!!

What is it about piggys that totally make me smile?!
I love this little lady!!!
Almost 15 Months, she is constantly jabbering
here are the words we can understand so far...
Hi, Daddy, Addy, dink (drink), Mum (Mom), dis (this).

I haven't been able to keep up with blogging with all the crazy
fun summer activities and reunions, but
I'll get around to it soon...

I mean REALLY! is our TV not big enough? Is our couch too far away? I almost told them the lie someone told me when I was little. "If you sit too close to the TV you'll go blind!" But instead I just giggled and felt grateful that they love to play together.

I'm sure Carter would have joined her up there too if he could have figured out how to do it without putting his Wii remotes down.

Our Third Spring Birthday!!!

Our little man turned 5 on May 18th!

Can you believe I planned this madness
with all their birthdays so close together?

What was I thinking?
Don't get me wrong Spring Birthdays are
great, but all of them so close together.
I need a good year to recover from all
the birthday cake I've eaten!

I instantly fell in love with his sweet dimples.

As I was looking through Carter's baby
book to find some pictures, I got so
wrapped up in the emotion I felt before
and after his surgery.
I am so grateful for what this little
guy taught me. This was one
of those refining moments that pushed
me up against my worst fears and taught
me to pray.

I am so glad I have this little boy in my life
to teach me about guns, swords, cars, helicopters,
and my favorite how to burp at each meal.
He adds an important spice to our family.
I love you Carter!!!!!

Yep you guessed it!
All on her own Kennedy came up with
the idea to donate her hair.
I procrastinated for several weeks thinking
she might change her mind, but every time I talked
to her about it she would get so excited!
JaCoy encouraged her by telling her she would
cut hers too.
It was fun but I had the worst nervous gas the whole time.

Soooo cute!!!
I've had a ton of fun trying new hair styles
every day!
But even more awesome is how she keeps
reminding me we have to send her hair off
quick!
She seems to be feeling the greatest part
of giving a gift!!!!
