Where has the time gone?

I know I'm behind on my holiday posts, I'll get to them.
But I couldn't let this monumental day go by without
posting some pictures of Miss Addison.
Can you believe 8 months already?
I've yet to find her pause button.
As you can tell in the above crib photo we are in trouble!

Thankful for our cousins!

Thanksgiving was great! Great food, good late night chats, and lots of shopping (too much for the hubby's). But the best part for me was knowing my kids were getting to know their cousins better. I love that my sisters had baby's at the same time I did. In fact in Kennedy and Madison's case only 48 minutes apart! They all had so much fun together.
Thanks to James and Diana for their amazing hospitality!

I'd like to say that as a Mom I can pretty much handle anything, however one thing that sends me into irrational mommy land is when something happens to Carter's head. I'm convinced God is testing me because it has happened a lot lately. Just over a month ago he was pushed down some stairs by a little handicapped boy at school and just today I came home from grocery shopping and Dan met me outside before I could come in. "Autumn, every things okay, Carter fell down outside and hit his head on the cement, but he's okay." He tries to break it to me gently, but instantly I feel like I'm going to throw up. I'm telling you this little guy is going to teach me some serious faith whether I like it or not.

These next two pictures are from today. When I came in the house
Carter calmly said "Mommy, I'm okay, just don't cry okay Mom"
This is the beginning of Carter's head trauma at 7 1/2 months old.
I truly believe that God knew he would need a stronger head for his life ahead.
Maybe someday He'll bless me to be a little stronger to handle it all.

Happy Halloween

Kennedy, Carter and Addison all wore the lion costume on their first Halloween. I love getting out the old photos and comparing their baby pictures. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by!

THRILLER!

Here's some pictures from our annual trip to see Thriller. As you can tell in this picture to the right, I'm not fond of creepy looking dead people. I was thinking "Please hurry and take the picture Hillary, before this scary lady touches me, cause I might pee my pants!" Last year I walked upon one and wasn't expecting her and I almost fell down the stairs. I know I'm a total chicken. But it's worth it to spend time with the girls. Fun over rides fear in my book!
